Cooking Safety For Kids
It is always fun and exciting to cook with your kids. You will be able to bond with them while doing it. Cooking is also a good way to show to them your family's legacy when it comes to food. They will surely learn a lot from the recipes that you will cook. But you have to remember that your kids' safety must be taken into consideration since there are equipment that can possibly harm them.
WASH HANDS CAREFULLY
One good reminder that you can always give to your kids is that they must wash their hands always. They should do it after they go to the bathroom or before they touch food ingredients. It is always important to teach young kids about cleanliness. You will be able to instill in them good health practices.
SELECT APPROPRIATE RECIPES
You as a parent must be able to choose the appropriate recipe to cook with your kid. You must take his age and skills into consideration. This will ensure that he will be able to perform the task assigned to him and he will enjoy doing it.
PLAN AHEAD OF TIME
Learn to plan ahead of time. This is to avoid any delays and to be able to show your child that you are always ready. Planning ahead of time will ensure that you will be able to gather all needed equipment and ingredients that you will need for the recipe.
SHOW HOW TO USE COOKING UTENSILS
You must show your children the proper way on how to use different cooking utensils. Try to teach them on how to handle sharp objects like knife so that they can avoid injury. This is very important so that they will learn to use cooking utensils as early as possible.
DO NOT TASTE UNCOOKED FOOD WITH EGGS
Try to be careful with foods with eggs. You have to realize that eggs may contain harmful microorganisms when uncooked. This may damage your kids' digestive tract and will lead to serious condition. You must not let them taste uncooked dough or other uncooked foods with eggs. Let them taste the food when it is done already.
You must always learn to appreciate all the good things that your kids can do in the kitchen. It is one good way to boost them up. You have to make sure that you always teach them the right techniques in handling food products for them to learn fast and easy. Always enjoy cooking with your kids since this is not a task but an exciting activity that you can do with them.

Rental Car Insurance - Need Car Insurance For Your Rental Car?
Traveling can be a whole lot of fun especially for holiday travelers looking forward to some rest and recreation. But whether you're traveling to attend a professional conference or to sip martinis off an island beach, one thing remains common besides hotel accommodations - rental cars. If you've ever signed your name on the dotted line for a rental car, you would, in all likelihood, have contemplated whether or not to purchase the car damage waiver offered. Do you need car rental insurance for your rental car?
Don't be so quick to say no even if your insurance policy covers rental cars. True, many travel experts will tell you paying car rental insurance is an unnecessary expense. They say so because some personal policies cover damage to a rental car. Premium credit cards may also come with accident insurance. All these notwithstanding, you are probably best off signing the agreement with your car rental company so that you absolutely won't be held liable if the car in questions is damaged or stolen. Here's why:
1. Not all policies cover car rentals outside of the country. Often, coverage is for US only. If you're renting a car in Paris or London even with the same rental company you use back home, you'd be burdened with charges when you don't carry car rental insurance and meet an accident while driving it.
2. Premium credit cards normally offer secondary accident coverage. Very rarely would you find a credit card that offers primary accident coverage. What difference does this make? A secondary insurer pays you only after you've filed claims with a primary insurer.
3. Your policies do not cover all charges the rental company makes on your credit card. Damage, from the point of view of the car rental company, is not only the cost to repair the vehicle in question. Understanding this is perhaps the biggest reason why the answer to the above question is a resounding yes.
What You're Liable For
When you meet and accident or lose a rental car without a CDW, your car rental company will charge you what the CDW would have covered. Here's a short list of mostly likely charges that will appear on your credit card (yes, they have that little detail, don't they?):
Cost of Repair - this is common and this is what your personal policy normally covers.
Lost Income - the amount of money the vehicle rental company lost while the vehicle is out of commission.
Diminution of Value - an estimated sum the car rental company would lose if it sells the vehicle.
Keeping Yourself Protected
Car rental insurance could be such a hassle, true. But if you'd rather be sure you won't encounter an even bigger hassle later, you'd let yourself get sold on the pitch and take the collision damage waiver or take out a car rental insurance. Otherwise, if you'd like to assure yourself it's not an unnecessary expense, read the agreement you're signing with your car rental company. Make sure you have coverage for what they'd hold you liable when you meet with an unfortunate event.

Texas Holdem Craft Wagon for Kids and the Buffet
While the adults at your Texas Holdem party are off playing poker with their buds, you'll have to find ways to entertain the kids. Keep the younger guests at your Texas Holdem event entertained by making pioneer covered wagons with them. You can also make these up before the party and use them to decorate your buffet table.
Texan Covered Wagons
For this unique party craft item you'll need the following supplies; Pint Size Milk Carton, Construction Paper, Markers and/or Paint, 4 Bottle Caps or Lids from a Milk Jugs, Glue and Tape.
Begin this Texas Holdem craft item by cutting the milk carton in half from the very top opening, straight down to the bottom. Try to preserve the shape of the half carton; this will serve as your wagon base. Keep the half with the top point, and paint it brown. Allow to dry.
Make the wheels for your Texas Holdem wagon by painting the 4 bottle or milk caps black. You can also cut small circles from black or brown construction paper and glue them to the outside of the caps if you don't have any paint.
Next, you'll cut a piece of white construction paper about 8 inches x 5 inches. This will serve as the tarp or cover of your wagon. Glue it over the base of your milk carton wagon to make the cover. If it won't stick, you can add some tape for reinforcement.
This makes youre Pinoner wagon for the Texas Holdem party. This wagon is very simple to make and and the kids will love it. You can bet they'll be playing with these wagons all during the party. Plus, you can line the wagons with paper towel or parchment paper and use them to hold snacks and candies on the buffet at your Texas Holdem party. They add a really nice decorative touch.

Tips To Rent A Car The Smartest Way
Sometimes when you stand at the rental car company counter when you need to rent a car you may feel a little bit confused with the options given by the agent, Should you say no to all of them? or yes? in this article you can find some tips to help you take the best decision.
The first and most important action you have to take is look around on internet. Most of the car rental companies have a website where you can see what rates, terms and conditions, restrictions, size of cars they have and a lot more information you can review at your own pace in the comfort of your home or office before being in front of the agent who will try to sell you services or car sizes you really won't need.
Do the math first, if you find an unbelievably low rate, you may find that is not really that low when everything is said and done, you need to clarify what taxes, surcharges or other fees you'll expected to pay and lookout for extras like airport fees you may be asked to pay.
Keep your eyes open and hunt for deals. Car rental companies always offer weekend or weekday special rates, keep looking for those promotions and try to find discount or promotional codes.
You really need a full size car? if not, go economy or compact. This kind of vehicles are the most popular, companies run out of economy models very often, in this case you may have a free upgrade to a full size car, but if not you will get your car anyway, it worths to try.
See if there are restrictions about where you can take your car and how may miles are included, some companies offer unlimited mileage but you can't take the car out of the state for example, if you do you that you may have to pay extras, increasing your final cost.
Don't prepay for gas, fill the tank yourself, because with that kind of deals you get a higher price.
Get the minimum insurance possible, the company will offer you a lot of extra insurance you rarely will need, you can use your credit card protection, major credit cards offer CDW for renting a car, also your regular car insurance may cover the rented one too, check your insurance coverage first.
Finally, be always on time. Car rental companies charge you a lot if you return the car only a few hours later, you can pay what you pay for the whole day even if you return it 30 minutes later.
